Late in coming as usual, here are some photos from my nine-day trip to Paris and London. It was a fantastic time spent eating good food, sleeping in a badass hotel, and hanging out with my parents and some old travel friends. It was especially fun sharing in my parent’s first experience outside of North America. My mom immediately fell in love with Paris, and my dad made us all laugh by constantly using ‘bonjour’ for everything: hello, goodbye, thank you, you’re welcome, and excuse me, among others. He also consistently pronounced Versailles as ‘Ver-Sally’s.’ But of course we only loved him more for it. One personal highlight of the trip was speaking Arabic with a Moroccan guy in a market in Paris’ Porte De Clignacourt neighborhood. He was so pleased with me that he gave me five euros off a pair of Chucks.

All in all, it was a really special time with my folks. Hopefully there’ll be more trips like it to come.
